James Roberson- House District 39

James Roberson is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 39 in Wake County since January 2021. Prior to his legislative role, he served as Mayor of Knightdale from 2015 to 2021 and was a member of the Knightdale Town Council from 2007 to 2015. Roberson's career includes over three decades at Wake Technical Community College, where he retired as Senior Dean and Chief Campus Officer of the Western Wake Campus in 2021.

In the legislature, Roberson continues his commitment to education, economic development, and policies that support working families, advocating for investments in public schools, affordable housing, and small business growth.
