Rep. Mary "Pricey" Harrison has been a dedicated member of the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2005, representing District 61, which includes central Guilford County. Born and raised in Greensboro, she earned her bachelor's degree from Duke University and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before her legislative career, Harrison practiced as a civil litigation and communications law attorney. She also served as President of the Julian Price Family Foundation and held leadership roles with the North Carolina Environmental Defense Fund and the Piedmont Land Conservancy, reflecting her deep commitment to environmental conservation.

Throughout her tenure in the General Assembly, Harrison has been recognized as a leader on environmental issues, clean energy, and green jobs in North Carolina.
