Tim Longest- House District 34

Rep. Tim Longest is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 34 in Wake County since January 2023. Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, he earned his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before his legislative service, Longest worked as a law clerk on both the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and is currently a consumer protection attorney in Raleigh. In the House, he serves on committees including Disaster Recovery and Homeland Security, Education - Universities, Finance, Marine Resources and Aquaculture, and Unemployment Insurance.

Rep. Tim Longest serves as the Democratic representative for North Carolina House District 34 in Wake County, bringing a strong legal background and a deep commitment to public service. He currently practices as a consumer protection attorney in Raleigh, where he advocates for working families and fights against corporate and financial fraud.

He serves on key committees, including Disaster Recovery and Homeland Security, Education - Universities, Finance, Marine Resources and Aquaculture, and Unemployment Insurance, where he works to advance policies that support students, safeguard North Carolina’s natural resources, and create economic opportunities for all. As a legislator, he prioritizes strengthening public education, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring fair wages and worker protections.
